I make the patients comfortable before, during and after treatment. I am also responsible for patient seating and preparation, instrument and operatory care, ordering and storing dental supplies, taking x-rays and patient education.

In my position I perform routine cleanings, periodontal scaling and root planing and instruct patients how to maintain healthy teeth and gums. I take the time to explain to patients how to brush their teeth and the importance of flossing. My main goal is to discuss plaque control and to develop at home good oral hygiene instruction.
